The Browser application must be Independent of the Operating System i.e It should run on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and also Sun Solaris, Linux, Unix, MAC etc., 3. The Application must be Independent of the Database which is in the backend i.e the frontend shouldnot be aware of the what version of database is there in the backend and also what database i.e it may be oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL, POST GRE, SYBASE (RDBMS). In the Network the application must transmit small amount of the traffic that means may be the object or data that should be light weight.
